Heidi Lange is a Swedish artist with an international background which includes 4 years of study at the Art Academy in Rome.
She lived in Kenya for 30 years and became famous for her African screen prints.
Now she is back in Sweden and gets her inspiration from rock-paintings, Viking picture-stones and lap-drums.
Her cooperation with Formpress AB in Farjestaden, Oland, Sweden, has resulted in products where the original handprinted and dyed textile is pressed into a birchwood serving tray which becomes a unique piece of art.
